About C.A.
C.A. Belmond is an Edward Albee Foundation Fellowship winner. She was awarded a writers residency at the Karolyi Foundation in the South of France. Belmond was twice a Pushcart Press Editors' Book Award finalist, nominated by Jonathan Galassi of Farrar Straus & Giroux, and Nan Talese of Doubleday. C.A.'s mentor is Margaret Atwood.
Belmond's original screenplays were shortlisted at Robert Redford's Sundance Festival and at the Eugene O'Neill Playwrights Conference. A member of the Writers Guild of America, Belmond has written, directed and produced award-winning television drama and documentary, for CBS, PBS, ABC and A&E. She was a staff writer for the dramatic series One Life To Live and Capitol.
Belmond has taught writing at New York University. She is also a featured blogger for The Huffington Post. A Rather Lovely Inheritance is Belmond's debut novel, which became an ongoing series of "Rather" novels featuring her beloved characters, Penny and Jeremy.
Currently C.A. (Camille Aubray) has a new, stand-alone novel which is her hardcover debut, available in book, ebook, audiobook and large print editions by Ballantine/Random House.
